Gamma Screenshots
I'm excited to share some screenshots of the new version of NEXTCOMP.NET arriving this summer. These are still somewhat in draft but we've come along far enough to share them with you.
The newest version is called "Gamma" and we are building the application from the ground up using all the best of what we've done in the current version and all the best of what we've learned over the past few years from ideas at user's conferences and from talking with our subscribers in other venues. In addition, we are utilizing the latest in web application user interface design.
Here's a sneak peek at the new NEXTCOMP.NET public home page. Yes, we have new pictures for all the pages!
The following screenshots are taken from the current Gamma application running in our test environment.
The user interface changes are just the beginning. We’re rebuilding NextComp from the ground up using the latest web technology. Gamma will be the fastest, most efficient, most stable and most cost effective version ever.
The next blog post willl detail some of the changes that you can't see in the interface, things like improved database speed, vastly improved processes for updating survey data each year, improvements in overall speed and enhanced reporting options.
Stay tuned!
